I know everyone has seen these types of posts, “click the link and we both get something”. But most of the time it’s for Candy Crush or some other nonsense. This isn’t one of those posts. Its about Personal Capital!

A little background. In the 80’s I kept track of my personal finances on Lotus 123, 90’s Excel, 00’s Microsoft Money and Peachtree Accounting, 10’s Mint. All of those options gave me the satisfaction of knowing where my money was comming from and going to. BUT it was garbage in/ out for the most part for the exception of Mint. I had to enter transactions and do the calculations to determine my financial health. It took time and always had holes.
