2018 Worlds Best Bricklayer Texas Mason David Chavez

 The 2018 SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 World Championship first place winner is mason David Chavez with Ranch Masonry, located in Houston, Texas. David laid 698 bricks to win a new Ford F-250 4×4 Super Duty Truck in the bricklaying competition. The contest pits 28 masonry teams from around the world. Chavez’s mason tender was Miguel Contreras.

Spec Mix BRICKLAYER Regional qualifying competitions kicked off in July 2017 in Tennessee. The regional competitions established the final roster of teams that competed in the 2018 World Championship in Las Vegas at the World of Concrete tradeshow. Teams competed for $100,000 in cash and prizes, including the Ford F-250 4×4 Super Duty Truck.

Chaves laid 698 bricks to win the Spec Mix BRICKLAYER 500 competition.
